Legendary player: Archie Hunter- they hired a train just for him

Archie Hunter, Aston Villa
In 1887 The Aston Villa captain Archie Hunter scored against West Bromwich on Kennington Oval, a match which Aston Villa won 2-0. It was the first Fa cup final that Aston Villa won, but they have won 7 finals. Archie Hunter was a legend on Villa Park, when he could not attend an awayday match because of his job and could not travel with the other players, Aston Villa rented a train just to transport Archie Hunter to the match.

Wally Ardron - Legendary player


Wally Ardron was the first player after World War 2, who made 200 goals in the league, he began in Rotherham united in season 1938-39, where he played a single match. Rotherham got him from Derby united for 100 pounds much against his school inspectors desire. The school director had seen him play on the school team for discontinued students. When Wally Ardon had paid twice,he handed his boots to the inspector, due to economic difficulties as he saidt it.   In the first season after the Second World War he scored 38 goals for Rotherham (Which is still club record) next football he minded his work at the railway. He went on to score in the league, even when he moved to Nottingham Forest in the summer of 1949. He ended his career in 1955 - and were listed for 217 goals in 305 league games.
