On the 17th April 1971 the Bundes liga match was fixed Schalcke 04 vs Arminia Bielefeld. 4 players from
Schalke 04, Gelsenkirchen: Herbert Lutkebonnert, Rolf Russman, Klaus Fichtel and Jurgen Wittkamp were bribed each 2300 Deutschmark to lose the match vs Arminia Bielefeld, as a result the 4 Schalcke players were banned for ever from German soccer.
